Your Gymondo Fitness Profile: The Tools You Need to Get in Great Shape

If you’re like most people, you probably go weeks or even months without checking your fitness progress. Even though your body and your fitness level have changed during this time, you have no idea how much progress you’ve actually made. But it’s of utmost importance to assess your fitness before beginning any workout program and periodically throughout your health and wellness journey. This will motivate you to keep training hard.

Now, it’s easier than ever to look and feel your best. In your Gymondo Fitness Profile, you’ll find all the tools you need to get in great shape. Let’s dig in.

Your Fitness Check

Before starting any fitness program, we recommend taking our fitness check. By assessing your fitness level, you’ll determine where to start and where to go next. Here’s how it works:

Step 1: Head to the Gymondo app and open your Profile menu. In just 5 minutes, you’ll determine your fitness level.

Step 2: Check your fitness level by clicking “Start Now” under Fitness Check

Step 3: Measure your resting heart rate to check your cardio health. Record your results in the app to track your progress in a month’s time.

Normal resting heart rate: 60 to 100

Step 4: Measure your strength by performing as many push-ups as you can in 60 seconds. Record your results in the app.

*Perform a standard push-up (knees off ground) with perfect form through a full range of motion. If you are unable to perform standard push-ups, consider starting with Gymondo’s beginner-level strength and toning programs until you build up your upper body strength.

Step 5: Test your core strength. Perform as many sit-ups as you can in 60 seconds. Don’t forget to record your results.

BEGINNER: less than 20
INTERMEDIATE: 21-35
ADVANCED: more than 35

Men:

Step 6: Test your flexibility. Standing with straight legs, reach down and try to touch your toes. Hold your lowest position for 3 seconds. You’ll then be shown a diagram with four images indicating various levels of flexibility. When prompted, choose the image that matches your level of flexibility. Make sure to record your results.
